Huntsville, ALThe nLogic team is seeking a Software/Tools Engineer to join our team in the Huntsville, AL area.
Required Qualifications:
- Must have an active DoD Secret Clearance
- Education and Experience Requirement
- Bachelor's Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline preferred from an accredited university
- Experience developing software in multiple languages (e.g., Go, C++, C, ADA, Python)
- Experience with unit and system-level testing
- Familiarity with structured data formats (e.g., JSON)
- Ability to learn and work with various coding languages
- Strong communication skills and ability to convey technical concepts clearly
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Must be able to work on-site in Huntsville, AL
- Willingness to travel occasionally (up to 10%)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience developing tools for data processing or analysis
- Knowledge of relational databases and SQL
- Familiarity with software development lifecycle tools (e.g., issue tracking, version control, documentation platforms)
- Experience with continuous integration and code quality tools
- Understanding of containerization and modern deployment practices
Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen. This is a full-time position located in Huntsville, AL. Current SECRET clearance is required for consideration.
