nLogic is hiring for a Test Engineer to join our team and become part of Space Launch System (SLS) program, located in Huntsville, AL. The applicant will work on site in an avionics lab.
Responsibilities:
Perform test activities
Monitor and run avionics tests
Coordinate with various stakeholders to ensure test activities are successful
Includes repair activities, replacement and calibration, scheduling, and shipping
Working with MS Office and Windchill to manage software and hardware
Required Qualifications:
Bachelors of Science in Engineering, Math, or Physics
3 or more years of experience with avionics testing
Must have an understanding of HW and SW interfaces
Able to read and create drawings
Able to create, review, and run avionics test procedure
Experience with conducting avionics hardware tests in a lab environment
Must be able to understand complex avionics systems in order to write, review, and run avionics test procedures
Experience troubleshooting HW and SW issues
Able to work with stakeholders on performing tests and troubleshooting
Able to read HW drawings and interconnect diagrams
Able to coordinate with various teams as tests are run
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with the NASA programs
Familiarity with MS Office, Pro-E Creo, XML, and Linux
Familiar with varies reviews (PDR, CDR, etc.)
Education/Experience:
B.S. in Electrical Engineering/Engineering, Physics, or other STEM field.
5 or more years of experience in the Responsibilities area.
Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen. Candidate must have the ability to obtain a Customer/NASA background check. This is a full-time position located in Huntsville, AL. This is a full-time 40-hour week Monday through Friday position. Candidate must be able to work weekends and shift during test events when required. Some travel may be required.
