The nLogic team is seeking a Scheduler to join our team in the New Orleans area. The qualified applicant will become part of Space Launch System (SLS) program. The position will be full-time on site at the NASA Michoud Assembly Facility location.
Position Responsibilities:
The candidate will provide scheduling support and assistance for various efforts to support the Integrated Planning & Scheduling group (IP&S).
The candidate will support development and operational teams to develop, modify and maintain detailed resource loaded schedules for multiple projects. Maintain schedule statuses dependencies and version control process and procedures.
The candidate will support program milestones according to the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS). The candidate will include updates on the in-progress and completed work tasks in the monthly Program Status Report.
The candidate will assist across disciplines with focus on efficiency, timely production execution and design producibility:
Evaluate current schedules as well as recovery schedules. Complete all evaluations by the end of the period of performance and shall submit findings as part of the monthly Program Status Report
Track progress/status of actions to closure by the end of the period of performance and will submit findings as part of the monthly Program Status Report
The candidate will create documents and presentations on the current state of their work in support of meetings or reviews as requested.
Required Qualifications:
This position requires the ability to obtain a Customer/NASA background check for which requires US Citizenship.
Bachelor's and 2 or more years' experience or a Master's degree with experience.
The successful applicant must have strong communication skills and are capable of working in a multi-tasking environment while supporting multiple activates concurrently.
The applicant must be capable of working with minimal supervision.
Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen. Secret clearance is not required; however, candidate must be able to pass a background check. This is a full-time position located in Huntsville, AL. Some travel may be required.
