NL-25-078 Data Manager

El Segundo, CA
nLogic is seeking an experienced Data Manager (DM) to join our team in El Segundo, CA, supporting the Department of Defense (DoD) Satellite Communications (SATCOM) programs for the United States Air Force (USAF). The ideal candidate will have a proven history of successfully managing Data Management responsibilities within complex defense programs, with the ability to lead efforts across one or more SATCOM initiatives in alignment with DoD standards and mission objectives.

The MSEIT contract provides Systems Engineering and Integration (SE&I) support for the Military Communications & Positioning, Navigation, and Timing Directorate of the Space Systems Command in El Segundo.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Manage Government Contract Data Requirements List (CDRLs) delivered via integrated data environments (IDE)
  • Support acquisition processes and facilitate Data Requirements Review Boards (DRRBs)
  • Analyze contracts and modifications to develop data item delivery schedules
  • Develop DM training packages and deliver training to government and prime contractor personnel
  • Contribute to process development and documentation in a collaborative, team-based environment

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Active Secret Clearance is required for this position
  • Experience with implementing military standards and DM best practices based on DoD-5010-12-M, MIL-STD-973, and MIL-HDBK-61A
  • Certification in Configuration/Data Management
  • Familiarity with Jira and Confluence
  • Hands-on experience administering DoD Acquisition Management
  • Knowledge of DoD Configuration Management (CM) principles
  • Familiarity with classified data handling

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen and hold an active Secret Clearance. This is a full-time position in El Segundo, CA. The pay range for this position is $91,000 to $125,400.
