The nLogic team is seeking a Thrust Vector Control Engineer to join our team in the Huntsville, AL area. This position is ensuring TVC performance meets requirements.
Position Responsibilities:
Defining operational, component, and system requirements for the thrust vector control system.
Defining, coordinating and controlling the functional and physical interfaces between the thrust vector control system and the vehicle.
Developing specifications for associated vehicle systems to meet customer and regulatory requirements.
Documenting configuration and design of the thrust vector control system and components.
Performing, coordinating, and directing various analysis, modeling and simulation tools to estimate or calculate system performance.
Coordinating and providing technical guidance for the thrust vector control component suppliers and responsible engineers to drive performance to plan while ensuring technical compliance to requirements.
Required Qualifications:
B.S. in Engineering, physics, or other STEM field
5 or more years of experience working with TVC systems as defined above
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with NASA programs
Experience with Microsoft Office tools
Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen. Secret clearance is not required; however, candidate must be able to pass a background check. This is a full-time position located in Huntsville, AL. Some travel may be required.
