The DTechLogic Team is seeking a Test Lab Engineer at The Missile Defense Agency’s (MDA) Advanced Research Center (ARC). This position requires an understanding of ground testing in different lab environments and ability to work in a dynamic team. The successful candidate will assist in leading the Test Lab Integration Team during ground test events, coordinate lab activity and communication, and make decisions on next steps. Other duties include managing lab configuration, creating reports/documentation, operating lab equipment, utilizing basic engineering troubleshooting skills, and executing configuration management best practices.
About the ARC: The Advanced Research Center (ARC) is a Missile Defense Agency (MDA) facility located in Cummings Research Park in Huntsville, AL. The ARC is a Test and Evaluation (RDT&E) facility designed and operated to support Missile Defense System (MDS), Hardware-in-the-Loop (HWIL), Ground Test (GT), and Flight Test (FT) activities.
About DTechLogic: DTechLogic is the prime contractor supporting the ARC, which is a joint venture between Davidson Technologies and nLogic that was started in 2018. The DTechLogic ARC Team consists of five contractor teammates in Huntsville, AL. Standard ARC operation hours are 8:00 am until 5:00 pm, with some exceptions outside of this window to support test events that require night shift work for some positions.
Primary Responsibilities:
Assist in leading the Test Lab Integration Team during ground test events, coordinate lab activity and communication, and make decisions on next steps.
Experience working as a Test Engineer in a lab environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience with one or more elements of the Missile Defense System
Experience collaborating with customers to understand test requirements and test objectives
Experience in Documentation and Configuration Management
Willing to learn new things and share existing knowledge with others
Ability to recognize opportunities for efficiency
Adaptable to changing requirements
Exceptional problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in writing test plans
Experience at MDA ARC or other MDA integration Lab
Experience in Linux System Administration
Experience working in secured spaces
Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen. This is a full-time position located in Huntsville, AL. Current SECRET clearance is required for consideration. The maximum salary for this position is $102,500.
