nLogic is seeking a RF Engineer whose primary focus will be analyzing and providing solutions for RF related issues on the SLS program. Ensuring senor performance meets requirements.
Position Responsibilities:
Support testing activities and analysis efforts for validation of test requirements of RF systems
Extensive experience evaluating RF systems link performance and antenna performance
Experience with routing RF signals from space systems to ground systems.
Experience with routing RF signals from ground systems to space systems.
Extensive knowledge of Antennas theory and performance metrics
Knowledge of RF manufacturing and installation.
Conduct systems level integration and requirements analysis
Support for the development of requirements and verification artifacts through Critical Design Review. Support of engineering document release to the program through the change process and release workflow.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, physics, or another STEM field
5 or more years of experience working with RF systems as defined above
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
Familiarity with NASA programs and tools (APDM, IPCL, DOORs).
Experience with Python/Matlab programming
Familiarity with space communications and integration standards: CCSDS, SNUG, NTIA
Familiarity with Spectrum Management and PSK modulation
Working knowledge of RF encryption algorithms
Working knowledge of FPGA integration
Experience with Microsoft Office tools
Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen. Secret clearance is not required; however, employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a background check. This is a full-time position in Huntsville, AL, and some travel may be required.
